Shells on the Sand: A Pair of Works

In the 1930s, Alfred Stieglitz exhibited works by Rebecca Salsbury Strand in a group show with her husband, the photographer Paul Strand. The Strands spent summers in New Mexico in the early thirties where Rebecca Strand was influenced by her close friend Georgia O'Keeffe.
