Of ovoid form set on a splayed base with slender neck and rolled lip, decorated in gilt and colored enamels with two rectangular reserves of court aristocrats and a flowering plum on one side, women and children beneath wisteria on the other, the ground midnight blue gilded with various crests, decorated paper slips and cherry blossoms, the neck and base encircled by bands of geometric scroll, the rim gilt --7½in. (9.1cm.) high
