A BLUE AND WHITE DISH

The shallow, round dish balanced on a short ring foot painted in the interior in underglaze blue with a butterfly hovering over two delicate rose-peonies beneath a thin a narrow line below the rim, another blue line around the foot, the white glaze thick and glossy with blue hue, especially in several areas in the well and in the recesses of the base, foot unglazed--7 3/8in. (18.7cm.) diameter
