etching and drypoint, circa 1650, on fine laid paper, with the apex of an armorial watermark, a fine impression, with good passages of burr along the reeded bank and in the trees above and to the left of the farm buildings, printed with tone and showing the many horizontal wiping scratches, with the three wiping flecks in the sky upper left often encountered on early, tonal impressions, with thread margins or trimmed on the platemark, the top margin, including the corners, made-up, touches of pen and ink along the platemark, generally in very good condition
