TWO CONTINENTAL BOXES, the first marked K. Friedlein, probably Polish, with Lombard mark; both probably circa late 19th Century, the first plain oblong, on four ball feet, the body with lock, the slightly raised hinged cover with thumbpiece, with two double-ball handles--6½in. (16.5cm.) long; the other rectangular with canted corners, on four hemispherical feet, composed of bands of filigre arcading, the hinged cover set with stone--5in. (12.7cm.) long, 27oz.
