Well painted with peony and bamboo sprouting from behind rocks, and with a pair of birds in flight on the reverse, above a band of alternating sprigs of lingzhi fungus and bamboo on the slightly rounded knop, and a band of detached leaf tips pendant from a border of incised demi-petals, another incised band of foliate scroll below the rim, all within incised double-line borders, rim chips - 8 in. (20.3 cm.) high
