The deep sides decorated on the exterior with two rows of petal lappets reserved on a blossom-strewn, pale green ground stippled in black, the lower row filled with vignettes of various animals, the upper petals decorated with flower-filled baskets alternating with paired birds and separated by descending butterflies, the interior decorated in the center with a pair of kylin, within a barbed octagonal medallion below a band of butterflies reserved on multiple diaper grounds at the rim, the whole raised on a foliate ormolu stand hung with garlands and with a pair of leaf-form handles--20 1/2in.
