AN IRISH SAUCEBOAT, maker's mark probably that of Joseph Jackson, Dublin, late 18th Century (date letter lacking), oval, on three shell and hoof feet, the front engraved with crest within beaded oval, the sides chased with slender flutes between punched panes, with punched rim and scroll handle, the underside engraved with initials--length over handle 6½in. (16.5cm.), 4oz.
