A PAIR OF GEOERGE III CONDIMENT URNS, bearing marks for William Holmes, London, 1799, wiht later decoration, each urn-form, with two scroll handles decorated with bellflowers, on a spreading cylindrical foot, with a domed cover and urn finial, the body and cover with beaded borders and repousse and chased with drapery swags and pendant bellflowers suspending from paterae and bowknots, the foot similarly decorated--8in. (20.3cm.) high, 30oz.
