Of shaped circlar form on four masive cast foliate feet applied with stags' heads, the border elaborately cast and chased with openwork scrolling foliage inhabited by game birds, foxes, hares, hounds and retrievers, the field flat-chased with a border of folaite scrolls and panels of trelliswork on a matted ground enclosing an engraved coat-of-arms, helm and crest, marked on reverse -- 24 in. (61 cm.) diam.
