The circular vase-shaped body on spreading foot chased with a band of dentilation, with two foliate clad loop handles and an everted egg-and-dart rim, the domed cover chased with a similar band and with acanthus bud finial issuing from a calyx of waterleaves, engraved with a coat-of-arms, helm, motto and crest, marked on body, cover, calyx and finial -- 14 in. (35.6 cm.)
