Of circular form on spreading foot chased with a band of dentilation, the sides chased with vertical fluting under a band of stylized foliage on a matted ground, each side with an acanthus and fish-scale cartouche enclosing a Bishop's armorials and, on the other side a crest, with two stylized lion mask, scroll and husk pendant ring handles, the removable rim applied with scrolls and cherub heads at intervals, marked on body and rim -- diam. at rim 12 5/8 in. (32.09 cm.)
