AN AMERICAN SILVER THREE-PIECE TEA-SERVICE, apparently unmarked, circa 1810, comprising teapot, two-handled covered sugar-bowl and cream-jug, each partly lobed oblong, on molded oblong foot, the shoulder and rims with ropetwist band, the shoulder engraved June 25 - 1810, the collar engraved with script monogram, the cream-jug and sugar-bowl with reeded angular handles, the teapot with wood harp-form wood handle, the hinged molded partly domed cover topped by pineapple finial--9in. (22.8cm.) high, gross weight 59oz.
