An exhaustive horticultural compendium, arranged alphabetically by plant names (and families), compiled from a number of treatises names at the from of vol 1 (all published between 1572 and 1796), apparently written for (or possibly by) Armand-Joseph de Béthune (1738-1800), duc de Charost.
