Stone, craftsman Herbert Taylor, 1908-1936, comprising tea-kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, coffee-pot, two-handled covered sugar-bowl, cream-jug and waste-bowl, each broadly fluted pear-shaped, on short spreading circular foot, with capped tubular scroll handle; the pots with hinged mostly fluted raised cover topped by button finial; the tea-kettle with fixed overhead handle, on circular stand resting on four tapering feet, with everted wavy border, with two bifurcated scroll supports--height of tea-kettle on stand over handle 13¾in. (34.9cm.), gross weight 141oz.
