A SILVER TWO-HANDLED COVERED SUGAR-BOWL AND WASTE-BOWL, maker's mark of Gorham, STERLING, no. 260., circa 1875, each deep elongated oval, on short molded foot, with applied beaded rim, the sugar-bowl with scroll handles applied with Classical portrait medallion, with tied ribbon above and birfucated join, the slightly raised hinged cover applied with beaded band and topped by butterfly finiail, the waste-bowl with similar form handle and join topped by butterfly--the sugar-bowl 5½in.
