Of fluted baluster form on three splayed scroll feet headed by foliage and rocaille, the sides chased with panels of scrolls and stylized shells, with foliate scroll spout and ebonized loop handle, the hinged domed cover with conforming decoration and unscrewing openwork foliate bud finial, engraved under the spout with armorials, marked on base, the body and cover also struck with later control marks--13 1/3in. (34cm.) high
