Of deep rectangular form with incurved corners and reeded borders, the sides chased with bands of stylized shells, the hinged cover chased with a border of dentilation enclosing a flat-chased band of stylized scrolls, the center with chased circular paterae flanking a lozenge shaped example, the base engraved with a cypher and Ximena and with another cypher overstruck by a foliate punch, the cover struck with crown quinto mark, the base with crossed swords in square-shaped punch and with a burrilada - 7 1/8in. (18cm.) long
