A STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE DRINKING CUP OF RALPH WOOD TYPE
CIRCA 1780
Conical, moulded on both sides with a mask of the Pope in a green, ochre and blue mitre above the mask of a grinning horned devil with brown hair, the sides moulded with acanthus enriched in blue and ochre (cross restuck)--5½in. (14cm.) high
