CIRCA 1815, IRON-RED MARK
Circular, painted in the Imari palette in the interior with a shield incorporating a cross within feathery mantling above the motto "OMNIA VINCIT LABOR" below a whippet crest, within a wide band of shield shaped reserves of birds in branches reserved on a gilt scroll-pattern ground, the exterior with a similar band of armorial panels and gilt lines--13¾in. (35cm.) diam.
