A FINELY CARVED RHINOCEROS HORN LIBATION CUP

Carved in the form of a large lotus leaf rising from a tangle of stems which form a handle at one end and bear a blossom, bud and further leaves which continue around the sides, some of the leaves carved as if partially eaten, perhaps by the grasshopper which rests on a leaf at the rim beside a small butterfly, of deep honey color, minor losses--5 3/4 in. (14.5cm.) long
