The flattened body well carved in shallow relief with an allover pattern of leafy, blossoming vines entwined within a network of knotted ropes stretching from a band of ruyi lappets at the base and a keyfret border at the mouth rim, raised on a pedestal foot and with a pair of tendril-encased bird-form handles at the shoulder, the cover similarly decorated below a hollowed, lotus blossom finial, the translucent stone of even color with a vein of opaque buff coloring--8 1/4 in. (20.9cm.) high
