Formed as a slender semi-flattened gourd, pierced and carved with bats and smaller flowering gourds suspended from gnarled branches spreading over its surface, the domed cover similarly carved as the stalk, the stone with some faint flaws, the interior of the vase frosted, rim chip - 7 1/4 in. (18.5 cm.) high
