A GEORGE III SILVER SALVER, London, 1808, maker's mark of William Fountain, shaped circular, on four scrolling shell form scroll feet, the gadrooned rim with rocaille and scrolls at intervals, the center engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest within foliage mantling and above with another crest and Baron's coronet, marked on reverse--22¾in. (57.8cm.) diam., 113 oz.
