A MEXICAN SIX PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON TWO HANDLED TRAY, maker's mark of Alameda, comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, coffee pot, two handled cover sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each furn form, the upper part of the body broadly swirling fluted, on similar slightly raised circular foot, with scroll handle, applied with reeded foliate scroll band to the foot, shoulder and rim, the pots with raised hinged cover topped by button finial, the tea kettle on circular stand on four foliate scroll feet, with similar rim, with two bifurcated multi scroll supports, the kettle with fixed overhead handle--height of tea kettle on stand over handle 15¼in. (38.7cm.); the oval tray with similar fluted border and rim, with two reeded handles, all on four loop feet--length of tray over handles 30¼in. (76.8cm.), gross weight 322oz.
