Greathouse & Slicer, Yreka (Cal.), sharply struck blue express company marking in octagon, used with scarce red Wells, Fargo & Co. printed frank (Haller unlisted, similar to WF-D with 'Through our California and Stlantic Express'), on 10c Green on buff Nesbitt entire (U18), to Boston Mass., file fold and small hole affect indicia, edgewear and light soiling, T. backflap missing, still intact and nearly fine, very scarce, this company operated in northern California and Oregon, and into the Boise basin if Idaho from 1855 to 1864
