Paid. frank (Haller FT10, type 4), printed express company frank, in a fancy frame, on 3c Red on buff Nesbitt entire (U10), cancelled by mostly clear blue oval 'Tracy & Co., Portland (Ore.)', on cover with printed merchant's corner card at bottom left, to Salem Ore., refolded at top and left, small repaired nick in bottom left corner and at top just clear of the frank, otherwise presentable and nearly fine, very scarce, this frank was used towards the beginning of Tracy's operations in 1859-1860
