A THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, maker's mark of Gorham, 1880, no. 2205, comprising teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, in the exotic taste, each wedge form, bright cut engraved with broad frieze of geometric motifs and stylized foliage, the shoulder further engraved, with angular handle, the teapot with four panelled spout on the angle, the slightly raised engraved hinged cover topped by fluted spreading finial--the teapot, 4¾in. (12cm.) high, gross weight 19oz. (3)
