A SILVER PITCHER, makers' marks of Bailey & Co.; and George Sharp, Philadelphia, circa 1850, pear shaped, the raised circular foot and spout chased with leafy and flowerhead band, the body chased and engraved with fine hamlet scenes centering shaped scroll and rocaille enclosed cartouche engraved with script initial BAJ, below chased corded shoulder, with part matted foliate scroll handle, with beaded rims--10in. (25.4cm.) high, 21.5oz.
