A STATE DINNER DRESS OF IVORY SATIN, BY CATHERINE WALKER

The dress has long sleeves and a bodice overlaid with cream silk lace, embroidered with subtle flowers of pink simulated pearls, glass beads and pink and white satin sequins. The skirt is very full and its folds fall in reverse. It is lined with white silk with triple layers of tulle and silk petticoats. This dress has never been seen in public as the Princess wore it to state dinners and diplomatic receptions at Buckingham Palace.
