Small 8vo, contemporary vellum wrappers from an early manuscript, sewn, covers rubbed and soiled, torn at spine, morocco folding case, upper corners of first and last 3 leaves torn with slight loss to foliation of 3 leaves, small marginal tear to fol. F8 entering headline, small hole in H3 affecting one letter, small stain on C2v and C3r obscuring a few letters of 5 words, some soiling and minor marginal dampstaining, a few corners bent. Second edition of this abridged translation, attributed to Richard Eden, black letter, title within border of type ornaments, woodcut initials. Burmeister 111; STC 18243; Sabin 51406 ("of extreme rarity," erroneously mentioning "a profusion of woodcuts"). A total of 5 copies listed by STC, NUC and Burmeister.
