Remarkable high-shoulder level and deep color; slip label only This bottle originated from the famous cold cellar of Sir John Thompson which was dispersed by Christie's London in 1976. The current owner purchased the bottle in that sale and has cellared it under ideal conditions since. Though many examples of this great pre-phylloxera vintage may now be fading, one's chances are enhanced with a bottle of such stellar provenance as this.
