Stylistic elements of this drawing such as the red line decoration between the leaves and the scalloped hatching defining the geometrically bound borders may relate it to the works of both the Music Book and the Plumstead Township Artist. Examples of the Music Book Artist's work are discussed in Earnest, pp.297-298; the works of both are illustrated in FLP 195-197, 200 and 201, and possibly 853.
