Each deep, spouted bowl set on a high ring foot and lacquered overall in an olive-brown with a band of black and brown swirling waves below the lip, each signed in black lacquer, one on the body of the vessel above the foot, the other on the base- 3 3/4 in. (9.5 cm.) high; 5 5/8 in. (14.3 cm.) diameter, in fitted wood box signed Chikushin kan narabi ni dai (2)
