Each of sarcophagus-form on four ball feet, the sides applied with laurel swags enclosing an oval cartouche with a flowerhead on a matted ground, each end with ring handle issuing from a ram's head, the domed cover applied with similar laurel decoration and with ram's heads at intervals, surmounted by acanthus bud finial, marked on bodies and covers--length over handles 7 3/8in.
