etching and drypoint, 1926, on wove paper, a rich impression, signed and dated in pencil, inscribed '6x' and '#114', numbered 1-XX, with margins, extremely pale light-staining and traces of printer's ink in the margins, otherwise in very good condition; and On Different Planes (R. E228)--engraving, 1944, on handmade paper, signed, titled and dated in pencil, inscribed 6/XXX, from the edition of 30 printed in 1944 at Atelier 17, with full margins, a small tear at the left margin edge, a Wittenborn Gallery label glued to the reverse of the bottom left margin, otherwise in very good condition (2)

Chicago Skyscraper was etched at the same time that Drewes completed his grain elevator series of 1926 which are considered to be among his most important works in the print medium.
