A FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of Tiffany & Co., circa 1880, comprising part covered spouted teapot, long necked hinged domed covered coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, part covered spouted cream jug and waste bowl, each compressed spherical, on short plain foot, the lower part chased with acanthus beneath applied bowed foliate shell band, the remainder chased with floral clusters and ferns, all on matted ground, the underside of base engraved with script name, the pots with conformingly decorated scroll handle, spout, and hinged raised cover topped by flower and foliate ball finial--the coffee pot 9¾in.
