A GEORGE III IRISH SILVER WAITER AND A SILVER TWO HANDLED CUP, both Dublin, the waiter, maker's mark of Robert Calderwood, circa 1745, the cup, maker's mark TJ, chased later, shaped circular, on three knurled scroll feet, the center engraved with coat of arms within elaborate foliate scroll and floral surround, with molded border to the applied gadrooned and shell rim--6¾in. (17.1cm.) wide, the cup on short stemmed raised circular foot, the bell form body applied with mid rib, above and below chased and engraved with broad band of grapevine, scrolls, foliate and flowers on a matted ground, with two leaf capped multi scroll handles--5½in. (13.9cm.) high, 19.5oz. (2)
