A GEORGE III IRISH SILVER SUGAR BOWL AND TWO CREAM JUGS, each Dublin, the bowl, 1781, maker's mark of John Locker, very deep oval, on three hoof feet with foliate shell join, the body chased with thick slightly swirling flutes alternately plain and beaded, with chased beaded rim--6in. (15.2cm.) diam., the cream jugs 18th Century, part marked, each helmet shaped, with applied girdle, and leaf capped scroll handle, the first on four twisted scroll paw feet with bearded lion's mask and rocaille join, underneath spout with shaped oval cartouche engraved with crest within rocaille and foliate scroll surround, the remainder chased with flowering foliage and rocaille scrolls on matted ground--4½in. (11.4cm.) high, the second on molded circular foot, flat chased below girdle with rocaille band, above with flowering foliage--3¾in. (9.5cm.) high, 15.5oz. (3)
