A GEORGE III SILVER INKSTAND, London, 1775, maker's mark of Charles Aldridge & Henry Green, rounded rectangular, on four hairy lion's paw bracket feet, two sides with long pen depression, one engraved with coat of arms within tied ribbon foliate surround, the center with three applied square bottle frames, the sides openwork with criss crosses, with two silver covered glass bottles (one lacking)--10½in. (26.6cm.) long, weighable silver 21oz.
