Late 19th century, bearing blue interlaced L marks, signed Maxant, retailed in Buenos Aires
Modeled after a vase à panneaux, the neck and body painted with panels of amorous couples, moulded berried garlands suspended from the canted corners of the main panels, the fluted lower-body and foot enriched in gilt, raised on a Louis XVI style ormolu base, remains of a paper label from the Buenos Aires retailer under the cover
