The everted rim with olive green lappets enriched with gilt scrolls and edges above a wide panel painted in colours with a continuous Bacchic revel or a dark-brown ground between olive green looped borders gilt with foliage, flanked by rope handles terminating in gilt foliage, the lower section with arched panels gilt with foliage above a flaring circular base with olive green and gilt anthemion and lappets--11¾in. (30cm.) high
