Oviform with short flaring neck decorated with pale-blue doves with palm fronds on grey clouds and darken blue sky flanked by short gilt handles above a wide pâte-sur-pâte scene of a female pilgrim in gauzy drapery standing beside a sign post tying her sandals attended by putti offering fruit and a flask, while two in flight herald her, the reverse with putti calculating distances on a map above a flaring foot and square base--21½in. (54.5cm.) high
