AN AMERICAN EGYPTIAN REVIVAL GILT-METAL FIVE-LIGHT GAS CHANDELIER
LATE 19TH CENTURY

With a central lotus leaf-moulded baluster applied with Egyptian masks issuing five straight arms supporting sphinx's with foliate S-scrolling tails and ending in a leaf-tip moulded cup with black tøle peinte shades, fitted for electricity--26in. (66cm.) high, 40in. (101.5cm.) diam.
