A PUNCH'ONG STONEWARE BOTTLE
YI DYNASTY (15TH CENTURY)
Of pear form set on a high ring foot rising to a tall, narrow neck with slightly flared neck and rolled lip, decorated with brush-applied white slip combed in a horizontal pattern around the body and deeply incised with a large fish and stylized blossom in the midsection below a wide band of lappets which reveal the greyish-green body beneath, also visible above the foot, the whole finished with a high-sheen transparent glaze- 11 1/4 in. (29 cm.) high, neck and body restoration
