A GEORGE III SILVER TEAPOT, London, 1795, maker's mark of John Robins, incurved fluted oval, the front and back with broader panel engraved with shield cartouche (one with crest) within foliate scrolls and festoons, above engraved with curling foliate scrolls and floral festoons, the flutes with anthemion divider flanked by spiral foliage above floral festoon, the lower body and cover border engraved with stylized foliate band, with part engraved straight spout, wood scroll handle, the hinged partly raised cover topped by fluted oval wood finial--6¾in. (17.1cm.) high, gross weight 14.5oz.
