(21 1/4 x 14 1/2in.) and a portfolio, uniformly bound in modern red straight-grained half morocco and marbled paper sides, plates 1 and 2 in the text volume colored and mounted on new paper, plate 11 bound upside down, several of the colored plates in the portfolio mounted on new paper mounts without the customary gilt borders, 7 of the original card mounts separately preserved; unboxed. Second Edition, the text volume with 31 plates in line or uncolored aquatint (except nos. 1 and 2, colored), the portfolio containing the engraved title (watermarked 1823), list of prints leaf and 31 SUPERBLY HAND-COLORED AQUATINT PLATES on 28 sheets, mounted to resemble drawings, most with engraved captions on mount versos, by Augustus Pugin and others.
