The sheet gold covered nanako plate is decorated in inlaid gold, copper, silver and shakudo with three warriors in a Gempei battle scene. The frame is sheet-gold-covered copper and has a yasurime surface. There are some dents and wear to the nanako and frame--length 9.7cm., thickness 6mm.
