The shakudo nanako plate is carved in very high relief with a running dragon with a jewel in its claw. The frame is also of shakudo, the back of which is polished--length 9.7cm., thickness 8.5mm.

This is a classic Goto school design and was repeated many times by both the Shirobei mainline school and the various branch lines.
