The movement with square baluster pillars adjustable potence, pierced bridge chased with foliate scrolls, coqueret, white enamel dial with arabic minute numerals enclosing roman chapters, finely pierced gold scroll hands, within a gold case enhanced with panels of flowers enclosing rustic interior and family gathered around a hearth, c. 1760, the case, possibly Geneva, makers mark, incuse I.G. -- 50mm diam.
